Showdown Kennels is a family owned and operated kennel located in the Upper Penninsula of Michigan. We are dedicated to creating companions for the home and truly versatile hunters in the field. At Showdown Kennels we breed for conformation, temperament, trainability, intelligence and pure hunting instinct. We strive to produce dogs that are not only exceptional in the field, but equally as strong in the water. We pride ourselves in the fact that all our dogs are biddable enough to be trained and handled by everyone from the most experienced individuals right down to first time German Shorthaired Pointer owners/trainers. It is imperative that our dogs possess calm dispositions when not hunting or training as they are all raised in our home and are an integral part of our family. All of our dogs are actively hunted and campaigned in both the AKC and NAVHDA venues
